About node jS
Node JS is an open-source server-side platform that was built on Google Chrome’s JavaScript Engine (V8). This cross-platform uses JavaScript runtime environments to execute a JavaScript code outside the browser. Therefore as a developer, you can write a command-line tool for server-side scripting. In the long run, a dynamic web page will be produced.
Main uses
Node.js is primarily used in the creation of a network program that includes Web servers. It uses networking tools such as JavaScript and the collection of modulus to handle several functionalities.
History of node jS
Ryan Dahl was the first to write the Node.js codes after the introduction of the first server-side JavaScript environment. In January 2010, the first package manager was introduced for the Node.js environment, and this was called npm. This enabled the programmers to publish and share the source code of the Node.js libraries. In 2011 June, the first native Windows version of Node.js was released.
