History of ionic
Ionic framework was developed by Drifty Co. in 2013. Initially, Drifty developed various products, such as Codiqa and Jetstrap, drag and drop interface building tools using the jQuery Mobile and Bootstrap. After receiving the feedback from the customers attempting to develop mobile applications, the team decided to develop their own framework focusing on performance.
