This platform was launched in 2002 in July, which started by providing a few disparate tools and services. In late 2003, the concept of could computing was formulated by Chris Pinkham and Benjamin Black. In November 2004, the Simple Queue Service (SQS) was launched. This was the first WS service to be launched for public usage. During the same year, Amazon EC2 was launched.
